MEET THE TEAM
Kelly Renzulli
STUDIO38 OWNER

500HR+ REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER
As an avid runner, Kelly has always understood the benefits and importance of stretching but it wasn't until living in rural New Zealand that she discovered yoga.

After attending a local class, she was hooked + slowly began to feel both the physical and mental benefits yoga has to offer. Kelly continued her practice, until ten years later when she decided to train as a yoga teacher in Melbourne, Australia where she taught until she decided to permanently return back to her hometown in Manchester.
Over time, her practice has evolved and strengthened, finding her own style, providing a soft, gentle and nurturing environment as well as a strong and alignment based practice. Kelly teaches Vinyasa, Mandala and Yin Yoga as well as courses for beginners and managing stress and anxiety.
Lily Hall
200HR REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER
Lily fell in love with yoga at her first Power class in 2014. Coming from a gymnastics background, she has always enjoyed creative movement (and falling out of handstands!) Beyond the physical benefits, Lily credits yoga with helping her to slow down and focus on the simple but essential trio of breath, meditation and balance.
Lily travelled to Mexico for her 200hr training and is qualified to teach Hatha and Vinyasa styles. Her classes centre on strong, rhythmic and creative flows to align our body and mind. She takes great pride in creating fun, authentic and unique classes. All levels of experience are welcome - from complete beginners to more advanced. We each have a different reason that brings us to our mat. Lily enjoys helping students explore this further, go deeper in our practice and fall in love with yoga.
Jay Standish
200HR+ REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER
Jay has been in the fitness industry for around 13 years, working in various Health Clubs as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. He started regularly attending hot yoga classes in Bury and quickly began to notice how this ancient practice benefited him on a physical and emotional level. He came to the realisation that this was something he could see himself teaching others, showing the world the huge advantages of practicing yoga.
Now a fully qualified Rocket and Level 4 Yoga Teacher, he personally love to practice Vinyasa Yoga, inversions and arm balances. His teaching strengths are his ability to correct technique, making sure students move safely and efficiently. Jay gets so much job satisfaction and enjoys watching students progress in their own yoga journey, always encouraging people to explore their potential.
Sammy-Jo Scarbrough-Lang
200HR+ REGISTERED ASHTANGA TEACHER
Sammy-Jo began her yoga journey in 2009 practising asana in the form of Ashtanga Vinyasa and in 2016 was introduced to breath work, kriyas and pranayama practice under the guidance of her teacher Vicky Shields. Through these practices she has developed a greater awareness and understanding of the effect the breath has on the mind and body, firstly through practice and then delving deeper into the science and research of the breath. Through regular implementation of these practices she has developed a more rounded and nourishing personal yoga practice for the mind and body, which has improved her overall health and well-being.
Sammy-Jo is a Senior Teacher and has studied Asana, Pranayama and Ayurveda. After completing her 200hr Teacher Training she began to teach own yoga classes to groups and individuals. Through her teaching she aims to give people practices and knowledge to help them gain greater awareness of themselves (body and mind). She does this by supporting students with breath-work, safely finding alignment both on physical and subtle body level, balance and focus both in their practice and day to day life.
Jenny Wildes
200HR+ REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER
Having always been drawn to free movement after a background in dance, when Jenny moved to Manchester 5 years ago she began to use yoga as a way to help stretch out muscles after weight training but enjoyed the dance like flow to the class. Pretty soon after, she fell in love with not just the asanas but the meaning behind them and began a life long commitment to using yoga to understand her body and mind further.
After completing her 200hr Teacher Training in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, she began teaching straight away and found great satisfaction in seeing her students progress physically but also mentally through the power of pranayama and meditation. Jens teaching style echoes her values, by focusing on intertwining the mind, body and soul into often challenging yet accessible sequences.
Becca Jane
200HR+ REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER
Becca first came to yoga for the physical benefits, loosening up after a days dancing. However whilst living in London, she found her mental and physical health deteriorating due to modern day pressures and fast living and so looked deeper into yoga and hasn’t looked back since.

Becca passed her 200hr Teaching Training with Yoga Haven last January and has since completed 50hrs of specialist Yin training with Josh Summers. She’s incredibly humbled to get to share her practice with each and every soul that steps foot in the studio. Whether you’re here for the physical, mental or to simply get out the house she keeps her classes dynamic, lighthearted and laced with yoga philosophy and pranayama. ‘Super excited to join the team at 38 and look forward to meeting you on the Mat’ - Becca.
